Pocomoke Police Department Press Release





Press Release:

  On September 13, 2014 a Pocomoke City Police Officer was conducting Radar enforcement on Rt. 13 in Pocomoke City Maryland. The Officer stopped a vehicle driven by Steven Kareem Clark from Virginia for driving 64 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.  Mr. Clark was issued a warning for the stop.

            During the Officer’s conversation with Clark he stated he had a loaded gun in the vehicle. Pocomoke City Officers recovered a fully loaded silver in color Smith and Wesson handgun with two additional fully loaded magazines. Mr. Clark was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a handgun.

wow 64 in a 55; maybe they should try radar downtown early in the morning with cars coming into town on Market St. Oh wait, that's the Pocomoke Police coming into town flying in a 25 mph speed zone, between 7:30 and 8:30. Its the white Dodge and the black Dodge they be rolling into town. Maybe the Chief can tell them slow down.
