Virginia Beach Man Allegedly Stabs Two Firefighters (Local)

My thoughts go out to the investigating officers and fire department personnel  who bravely attended this accident so very early this morning.  This may explain why Route 13 in Accomack County was closed  for a brief  amount of time.  There really is no excuse for this type of repulsive behavior nor should it be tolerated.
ACCOMACK COUNTY--A Virginia Beach man allegedly stabbed two firefighters who were trying to help him.

According to a press release from State Police, Bradley Colas was involved in a single vehicle crash on the 12000 block of Lankford Highway in Accomack County around 6:42 am. this Sunday morning.

According to police Colas  car ran off the road and struck a tree.

Rescue and Fire crews arrived and were helping Colas with his injuries when   (Investigators say) Colas got irritated and stabbed two firefighters.

The firefighters fought back, hitting Colas in the head.  Colas then reportedly pulled out a gun and opened fire at the firefighters.  He started running away but state troopers caught him before he got too far.

Colas was taken to the Eastern Shore Memorial where he in custody and under medical observation.
