Missing Woman's Dad at 'Breaking Point'

Relatives and friends of a California woman who vanished a month and a half ago are frustrated in their search for clues.
They were on the streets in South Los Angeles again Sunday, handing out leaflets and asking people if they had seen Mitrice Richardson. The 24-year-old woman disappeared after leaving a sheriff's station shortly after midnight Sept. 17. She was released after being charged with marijuana possession and failure to pay a restaurant bill.

Richardson was last seen on foot and was not carrying a cell phone or purse. Witnesses said she behaved strangely -- telling people she was from Mars, according to The Los Angeles Times. There have been no confirmed sightings of her since that night.
"I'm at a breaking point," Mitrice's father, Michael Richardson, 42, told the newspaper.
He is urging authorities to release security camera video that he believes will prove his daughter was in no condition to be released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The county is offering a $10,000 reward for information about Mitrice Richardson. Anyone who knows where she is should call (213) 485-2531.
